The International Taste & Quality Institute blind tasting results! “GRADUS” received two stars!

The International Taste & Quality Institute published the results of the blind tastings which gathered together 175 chefs and sommeliers from the most prestigious European culinary associations.

The International Taste & Quality Institute – iTQi – based in Brussels is the world’s leading organization dedicated to certifying the TASTE of food and drink products.

Judges are selected from the 15 most prestigious European culinary and sommeliers associations: the Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, Academy of Culinary Arts, Hellenic Chefs’ Association, Académie Culinaire de France, Verband der Köche Deutschlands, Federación de Asociaciones de Cocineros de España, Federerazione dei Cuochi Italiana, Årets Kock of Sweden, Euro-Toques, Gilde Van Nedrlandse Meesterkoks, Associação de Cozinheiros Profisionais de Portugal, Craft Guild of Chefs, Turkish Cooks Association, World Master Chefs Society (WMCS) and the Association de la Sommellerie Internationale (ASI).

The following Awards can be granted to a tested product :

1 Star – Exceptional products with 90% and more of total marks
2 Stars – Remarkable products with marks between 80% and 90%
3 Stars – Notable tasting products with marks between 70% and 80%

The Crystal Taste Award is granted to products that have received 3 stars, 3 years in a row.
These products have been successfully blind-tasted 3 years in a row by 3 different panels of judges with a score of 90% or above.

The Diamond Taste Award has been created to further assist Food & Drink manufacturers to prove consistency in their products over a long period of time and to help differentiate themselves from competition.

The Diamond Taste Award is granted only to products that have reached 3 Golden stars Superior Taste Award(with a gustatory score over 90%) 7 times over the last 10 years.

This achievement is particularly remarkable given the fact that the same product is judged on a strictly blind basis by different juries each year, who are selected among Chefs and Sommeliers members of the major European culinary associations.

It was the first time when “Permalko” took part in this blind tasting with vodka “GRADUS” and received 2 stars!
